Christmas 3D Screensaver 1.0 build 8

One of the great things about winter is that you can go outside with your friends or family and make a good looking snowman. If you have kids, they will particularly enjoy this. The 3PlaneSoft-developed application Christmas 3D Screensaver aims to bring the snowman inside your house.

The application does this by displaying a snowman as your screensaver. Christmas 3D Screensaver displays a snowman as it does various things in a Christmassy environment – by Christmassy I mean there are Christmas lights, gifts, a Christmas tree, and falling snowflakes. The snowman walks around and from time to time takes off his hat to pull some fireworks out of it.

While running Christmas 3D Screensaver plays sounds and music in the background. If you find them distracting, or if you simply don’t like them for whatever reason, you can turn them off. While Christmas 3D Screensaver is running, simply press the M key on the keyboard and every sound will be muted. Alternatively you can go to the Settings window and disable the sounds/music altogether. You can also adjust the sounds/music volume from the Settings window.

Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.

During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.

Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
